ABOUT MOCOA ANDINO

Scientists have been warning us for a long time that our way of life is bringing the world to a point of no return. Global warming is out of control, we are spending annually many more resources than the planet can produce, mortgaging the future of our children and grandchildren and the extinction of species is reaching critical levels.

Although there is more awareness of the criticality of this situation, there are few concrete actions to solve this problem, because it is thought that this is an issue that only concerns the decisions of the governments in power.

The Mocoa Andino reserve project is a personal response that looks forward to give a help to solve these problems.
This project began by investing part of the inheritance of my father Théophile Le Crom, and the dreams of my son Xavier Le Crom who died 2 years ago. My hope is that my grandchildren, the future generations of the family, and all the friends who will want to get involved, could enjoy the exceptional nature of this corner of Putumayo.
